"From Bagel-meister to Gridiron Griller" In case you're wondering, OFFERDAHL'S CAFE GRILL is the creation of John & Lynn Offerdahl, a husband and wife who started a tiny bagel shop serving oversized, fresh-baked bagels in 10 different varieties. The first Offerdahl's Bagel Gourmet shop opened in Weston, Florida, in 1990 during the heyday of John's All-Pro football career as a Miami Dolphin middle linebacker and grew to 10 stores before he retired from football and bagels in 1995. Filling his days with golf, family and friends wasn't enough for John. He missed the restaurant business and in 2000 decided to open a new and improved version of Offerdahl's by expanding the menu and developing a new concept in fast-casual dining - OFFERDAHL'S CAFE GRILL! One thing that sets OFFERDAHL'S apart from other fast-casual restaurants is our Specialty Grill that cooks up juicy, fire-grilled steak, chicken and salmon served over rice, or atop our delicious salads with John's signature homemade dressings and sauces.
